Tottenham are going to cash in on one of the players they signed in 2022.
Spurs have struggled this season, prompting claims that the club’s management is seeking for a new manager, and they are prepared to offload their underperforming players during the summer transfer window.
One of their most recent transfer disappointments has been midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Since joining the club from Brighton, he has failed to reach the heights anticipated of him, and his progress as a player has halted.
Postecoglou is now attempting to unload the midfielder during the summer transfer season, with Crystal Palace interested in signing him.
According to John Wenham of Tottenham News, the African midfielder is likely to quit Spurs and join Palace.
“I’m sure Bissouma would be interested in joining Palace,” John Wenham said exclusively to Tottenham News.
“It would allow him to remain in London and the Premier League.” As a result, if Adam Wharton moves on, we could potentially sell Bissouma to Palace for around £15 million.
“I’m sure if he was available at that price, a team like Palace would take a chance on Bissouma, who is an experienced Premier League midfielder.
“He spent four years at Brighton before joining Tottenham, so he has extensive experience. However, he simply isn’t good enough to play for Tottenham going ahead.”
Tottenham could go through big changes in the summer
The midfielder isn’t good enough to play for Tottenham, as seen by his dismal performances.
Spurs are interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, which may work to their advantage if they offer Bissouma to Palace.
Spurs might look very different next season, with club captain Son Heung-min also linked with a move elsewhere.
