Liverpool
With the signing of Antony, Liverpool may be able to secure their very own Neymar.

Darwin Nunez, Calvin Ramsey, and Fabio Carvalho are the three players Liverpool has brought in so far during the transfer window, but the club has so far experienced considerably more departures than arrivals.
There is still room to bring in more fresh faces to the team as Divock Origi, Sadio Mane, Taki Minamino, Neco Williams, and Loris Karius are only five of the eight players who have already left Merseyside.
Following the Merseysiders’ record-breaking acquisition of Darwin Nunez, who completed their forward line, Liverpool are reportedly looking to bolster their midfield. However, given the unexpected departure of Senegalese winger Mane, could they look to add another player?
The Ajax winger Antony has been recently linked to Liverpool. This summer, Manchester United, the Reds’ most bitter rivals, had their eye on Antony, but if reports are to be believed, FSG may be about to sabotage their transfer plans.

The Brazilian right winger averaged 1.7 key passes and one tackle per game while making 23 appearances, scoring eight goals, providing four assists, and setting up seven big chances. He also won 51% of his duels and completed the majority of his dribbles (56 percent
For his work with the Eredivisie giants, the 22-year-old has garnered great praise, and Dutch scout Piet de Visser described Antony as “amazing” when questioned about the player:.
“That will work, Anthony! He’s been high on me for years. At the age of 16, I seen him perform on Brazil’s Under-17 team. Exceptionally skilled in technical football. He truly has his own flair; you cannot compare him to David Neres or Hakim Ziyech. A gorgeous stairway and a really good, quick dribble.
By signing the attacker this summer, Jurgen Klopp might even find himself his own Neymar, with the Paris Saint-Germain star being listed as one of Antony’s most similar players from last season by FBref.
While Antony outpaced his Brazil teammate in terms of shots on goal (79), shots on target per 90 (1.41), and crosses completed, Neymar contributed to more goals (19). (100).
Having said that, Antony would be a terrific acquisition for the team and, at 22 years old, has a chance to succeed Salah in the future if FSG does decide to add even more quality to the already incredibly gifted forward line at Anfield.
