Why Jude Bellingham is wanted by Liverpool and why he “wants” Liverpool

Bellingham’s desire by Liverpool is hardly a secret. The rumors of a deal for the England international have only grown now that a move for a midfielder has been postponed until 2023.
There are no assurances that a trade will happen, but if no new player is brought in this summer, ties between the Dortmund player and the Anfield club will only grow.
But why Bellingham, and is an agreement between the two cities even possible?
One of the most in-demand items in football. Bellinghamnotoriety by ascending through Birmingham City’s development ranks and became their youngest-ever player when he made his debut at the age of 16 in 2019.
As Birmingham retired his No. 22 jersey, he went on to make 44 appearances for the Midlands club, earning a transfer to Dortmund in 2020 that was valued over £30 million.
With 15 caps to date, he is now a regular for England and an important player for Dortmund. In 90 games, he has scored 10 goals and provided 18 assists.
He is essentially a full-fledged midfielder.
Bellingham has played central midfield for Dortmund for the majority of his 90 appearances, although he has also appeared on the right, left, as a No. 6, and as a No. 10 in addition.
Although he possesses a wide range of skills, a No. 8 would be the most fair description of him because of his ability to link up play as a supporting midfielder and overlap into attacks from either inner flank.
However, there is a maturity and poise to his game that has allowed him to play a deeper role for England. One of his most crucial qualities is his willingness to keep possession under duress and create space.
One of his key qualities is his readiness to seize control in a crisis and create space.
Why is he desired by Liverpool?
For the same reason that every other team will be interested in him: He is a generational talent and, despite only being 19, is already among the greatest in his position.
While Jordan Henderson (32), Thiago (31) and James Milner (36) are all in their 30s and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho are both turning 29 this season, there is a need to rejuvenate in midfield at Liverpool.
There is a need to regenerate because James Milner (36), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (31), and Thiago (31) are all in their 30s, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho are both turning 29 this season.
With experience in both 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 systems, Bellingham would fit in seamlessly in a variety of roles at Liverpool, and given his age, he might continue to do so for more than ten years.
The importance of adding a new lead midfielder to the group of Fabio Carvalho, Curtis Jones, and Harvey Elliott, as well as Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita, whose contracts are all set to expire in 2023 and 2024, respectively, respectively, and Thiago’s, is vital.
It would seem he is open to the move!
According to GOAL‘s Neil Jones, Bellingham “would be more than interested in a move to Merseyside” if one presented itself.
The teenager idolised Steven Gerrard growing up and has formed a strong bond with Jordan Henderson while away with England, describing the Liverpool captain as a “legend” in a recent Instagram post
