Unexpectedly, Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer was boosted as a new possibility emerged

Erik ten Hag, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes met on Tuesday to talk about the defender’s future after he revealed he wanted to leave Old Trafford.
After declaring his intention to leave Manchester United for a club participating in the Champions League this year, Cristiano Ronaldo is still looking for a way out.
Atletico Madrid may now be a possibility for him, despite the fact that the club’s president Enrique Cerezo had described a transfer for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner as “practically impossible.”
In an effort to resolve the situation, Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes met with Erik ten Hag on Tuesday. However, the issue has not been resolved because the Portugal international still wants to leave and United is unwilling to allow him to do so.
Finding a team that will pay Ronaldo’s exorbitant wages and can give him Champions League football is one of his challenges. Real Madrid has no interest in re-signing the 37-year-old, while Bayern Munich has already taken itself out of the running.
Cerezo, the manager of Atletico Madrid, earlier informed reporters that they would not make a bid for Ronaldo.
According to Cerezo through El Partidazo De Cope, “I’ve stated this numerous times, I don’t know who developed the Cristiano rumor, but I’ll tell you that it’s nearly unlikely that he comes to Atletico de Madrid.”
“Rumors are rumours, and they must remain that way. If you keep spreading false information, ultimately it will appear to be true even when it isn’t.”
At Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo is still trying to find a way out.
In spite of the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is still looking for a way out at Manchester United (Manchester United FC), Atletico Madrid might decide to rethink their stance on Ronaldo in light of a Confidencial Digital report claiming that they have sold the fewest number of shirts ever this summer.
According to a club source, “sales have decreased by 40% compared to last year’s figures” as inflation rises throughout Europe and supporters continue to feel the financial hardship of attending games.
Although Ronaldo is not Atletico’s obvious solution to this issue, the portuguese international is a huge source of income for any team he plays for.
Man Utd announces the shirt number while also dropping the Frenkie de Jong transfer hint.
As Lisandro Martinez misses out on the “dream” digits, Man Utd releases his shirt number.
According to The Athletic, Juventus witnessed a £27 million gain in commercial revenue in a season, going from £123 million before Ronaldo signed on to £150 million the following year.
The club’s kit supplier deal with Adidas also jumped by £24m from £19.8m to £43.8m, while the sponsorship deal with Jeep increased by £24.5m from £14.5m to £39m during Ronaldo’s time in Italy.
Man United have also started to reap the benefits of Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford, with revenues growing £34.5m from £118.3m to £152.8m and commercial revenue growing £7.5m from £58.1m to £65.6m
When he joined Juventus, Ronaldo also held the record for the most shirts sold in Italy on a single day. Paulo Dybala recently broke this record by joining Roma.
Ronaldo, 37, was taken aback by the possibility that United, who are still committed to keeping him this summer, would let him go on loan for the campaign.
After he has led the Red Devils back to the Champions League, Ten Hag is eager to exercise United’s option to extend Ronaldo’s two-year contract for another season.
