Transfer hypocrisy involving Bayern Munich can only go one way, thanks to Liverpool’s wise Sadio Mané decision

Liverpool allowed Sadio Mané to sign with Bayern Munich this summer for a possible cost of £35 million. But with their own sales, the German juggernauts are taking a major risk.
Robert Lewandowski continues to be linked to Barcelona in what is tipped to be one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer. Lewandowski is currently a player for Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski has officially stated his desire to move to Barcelona, and Barcelona has publicly stated their want to sign him; but, a deal does not appear to be close.
So how does Liverpool factor into this? Well, there is more than a little irony at work here given that we have agreed to sell Sadio Mané to Bayern Munich for a sum that might reach £35 million (but is initially less than £30 million minus the add-on.
Lewandowski is almost four years older than Mané. Both forwards wanted to leave their current teams and both had one year remaining on their contracts (or had, in the case of Mané.
While the Bundesliga champions have a replacement of their own in the Senegalese, things have gone very differently there while Liverpool rather quickly found a successor and allowed Mané’s decision to move on.
