Spurs have yet to sign a replacement for Harry Kane since selling him last summer. However, it has been claimed that the Lilywhites may look to acquire a new centre-forward in the approaching window to strengthen their front line.

Ivan Toney, Santiago Giménez, and Mohamed Amoura have all been linked with a move to the recently restored White Hart Lane, but Martial is emerging as a genuine contender.

The Frenchman joined the Red Devils from AS Monaco in 2015, having previously been regarded as one of the world’s top emerging talents. He even showed hints of his abilities in the early stages of his Manchester United tenure.

However, he failed to further his career at Old Trafford, and as a result, he never realized his full potential. His contract is slated to expire at the conclusion of the season, therefore he will leave United as a free agent this summer.

Martial to Tottenham

Sport Witness, citing and translating the print version of TuttoSport, said that Juventus intends to sign the 28-year-old in the off-season, but the player’s £5 million-per-year pay demand may be a stumbling block for the Bianconeri in any potential deal for him.

According to the source, Tottenham has also indicated an interest in signing the attacker and is prepared to compete with Juventus for the player this summer.

According to TuttoSport, Martial’s pay demands will not be an issue for Spurs, and they may be able to obtain his services during the forthcoming transfer window.

Martial, who is valued at about £9 million by Transfermarkt, is a versatile player who can play both as a centre forward and as a left winger. He is a highly talented player who, if signed, may help Spurs strengthen their front line.
