According to Jurgen Klopp, the Portuguese attacker will be out for months, which is a major setback for Liverpool as they attempt an unprecedented quadruple.

The attacker has been playing exceptionally well for the Merseyside team lately, but the news that he is injured suddenly is a serious setback to the team’s title chances.

Tom Cairney has been addressing Jota’s recent injury on the Footballer’s Football Podcast. He asserts that the £40 million player is one of the Premier League’s most underappreciated players.

“Jota is, in my opinion, one of the Premier League’s most underappreciated players, and they just lost. I think he’s outstanding. The player with the lowest rating. He can do anything when you play against him. He can go in one-on-one and bounce it off your shin five times, just like Suarez,” Cairney remarked.

Jota is a fantastic player who occasionally doesn’t receive the recognition he deserves, so Cairney isn’t entirely incorrect.

He’s not quite as flashy as Luis Diaz, divisive as Darwin Nunez, or clinical as Mohamed Salah, but he’s a fantastic striker who embodies every quality you could want for.

Although he doesn’t receive as much attention as some of his teammates, he is an extremely dependable striker who has emerged as Liverpool’s finest player recently.

As long as Nunez, Diaz, Salah, and Cody Gakpo remain healthy, the Reds should be able to function without Jota. However, their chances of winning on all four fronts would be significantly increased if Jota was healthy and available for selection.
