Liverpool are not planning for further activity in the transfer window following the arrival of Calvin Ramsay last week. But that could change if the right player became available for the right price.

At the moment, one area where the Reds will like to add reinforcements in the near future is the midfield. With a core group made-up of ageing players, Julian Ward’s task will be to rejuvenate Jürgen Klopp‘s options and build the Reds’ next midfield evolution that could ensure the club’s long-term future

Jude Bellingham is one player who has consistently been mentioned as having the ability to fill that position. The Borussia Dortmund star may be a player ideal for Klopp’s style at Anfield because he is one of the biggest teenage talents in football right now.

One of the top young players in football right now, the Borussia Dortmund star may be a player made for Klopp’s system at Anfield.

FSG may encounter difficulty luring Bellingham away from Dortmund, who apparently want a hefty £100 million sum for his services, given his status and lofty potential.

As a result, Julian Ward may look to other options that the club’s scouting division has presented to him. One such player, according to GOAL, is Carney Chukwuemeka.

The Aston Villa midfielder has recently been shining for England at the U19 European Championships, contributing to four goals over the course of three games. Chukwuemeka, regarded as one of the top talents in an exceptionally gifted Aston Villa youth production line, made 12 Premier League appearances for the team last season, clocking in 294 minutes overall and contributing one assist.

Chukwuemeka, a midfielder who is incredibly quick and skilled with the ball and can easily slalom past his opponents, excels at both setting up opportunities for his teammates and seizing them for himself.

He only has one year left on his contract, and so far he has dragged his feet in talks with the club. There have been rumors that he would be moving to Borussia Dortmund this summer, but German sources, like Patrik Berger of Sport1, have denied those rumors.
