LIVERPOOL 9 : 0 BOURNEMOUTH, REDS PLAYERS PERFORMANCE RATING

Ratings and scores of Liverpool players in the 9-0 win against Bournemouth at Anfield
Alison Becker 7
Quickly deviate from his line under pressure with a few rushing clearances. An easy save from a Kieffer Moore header. Spectator in the second half when he took his clean sheet bonus.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 9
Beautiful goal for Liverpool’s third goal, which leaves no chance for Travers from distance. Set Mepham’s own goal with a characteristic cross. Just tested in the defensive phase.
Joe Gomez 7
Another handy defensive screen. He passes well from behind and helps create Alexander-Arnold’s goal.
Virgil van Dijk8
Initially he had a challenge to Moore and was hit with a header in the air, but gained confidence as Liverpool took the lead. He even went for a solo run in front before whipping those long diagonal balls. Punctually at halftime, we went home in fifth place. Cruise control after the break.
Andy Robertson8
A chance from the head at the far post. He never stopped running, both in attack and in defense. Connect well with Diaz. Van Dijk’s goal from a well-beaten corner and then helped create Firmino’s second.
Harvey Elliott 8
What a way to open your Premier League account! Wonderful first attempt from the edge of the area. Not everything came, but enthusiastic as always and insisted. Brilliant pair play with Firmino and Diaz to almost set Salah with a low cross. Hopefully it’s just a precaution when he retires at half-time.
Fabio 8
Much improved from the Brazilian. He showed some twists in midfield to start some Liverpool attacks and recover the ball as usual.
Jordan Henderson 7
It takes a while to get used to playing a somewhat more reserved role on the left. Not all steps came out, but led by example. Not impressed to be withdrawn.
Mohammad Salah 7
The most surreal of all scenarios where Liverpool score nine, yes nine goals and he is not directly involved in any. Missed two goalkeepers from close range while admittedly unlucky not to score with a volley on his weaker foot from Firmino’s chipped goal.
Roberto Firmin 10
Welcome Bobby! Two assists in six minutes, a hat-trick before half an hour and then another goal. Tipped rush hour for braces. The perfect way to silence your doubters. Involved in everything, great center for Diaz’s opener. He could have had another assist and another goal if Travers hadn’t made two good saves.
Luis Diaz 9
A brilliant header to open the scoring to send Liverpool on their way and another header made it 9-0. A few clever tricks and tips led to increasingly rough treatment from the Bournemouth defence, but took it easy. Took the lead in the second half. Fabio Carvalho (On for Elliott, 46) 8
Gorgeous burst to open his account for the Kop after being pushed forward. Pressed hard to regain possession in Bournemouth’s defensive triangle to earn Kop applause. He helped Robertson get Firmino’s second place.
Kostas Tsimikas (Up for Robertson, age 69) 8
Perfectly damped pass to set Carvalho before Diaz’s second was dropped from the corner.
James Milner (On per Firmino, 69) 7
Entering midfield, the game ended as a right-back when Klopp handed out the debut. With five substitutions to play with, watch him ruin the substitution minutes.
Stefan Bajcetic (On for Henderson, 69) 7
Perfect opportunity to give the youngster his Premier League debut, lining up for a more advanced eighth position.
Bobby Clark (On for Alexander-Arnold, 83) N / A
Hello. If you can’t make him debut when he’s 8-0 up, when can you?
