Raheem Sterling joins Chelsea as Liverpool watches on

Raheem Sterling, a former Liverpool winger, will join Chelsea and Man City for £47.5 million.
Although the Reds have benefited from a share of transfer fees when former Reds have moved on, the ECHO understands that this will not be the case in this deal. Sterling left Anfield in 2015 for the Etihad Stadium. This is due to the fact that the England international signed a new contract in 2018, his second with the Premier League champions in recent memory.
This summer, Sterling will leave City alongside Gabriel Jesus, with Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips coming in to take his place.
