Liverpool
Pep Guardiola should be more concerned as Liverpool are aware of the reality revealed by Darwin Nez and Erling Haaland.

Statistics refute the idea that Liverpool’s acquisition of Darwin Nez was a riskier move than Man City’s acquisition of Erling Haaland.
In order to maintain their lead over the opposition for the upcoming season, Liverpool and Manchester City have taken action. The two teams have consistently outperformed the rest of the Premier League over the past five years, and last season, they were by far the league’s top two teams.
But none of them is content to sit back and enjoy their success. After activating Erling Haaland’s release clause, City made the first move and signed him around the end of May. After Sadio Mané informed the team that he believed his time with the Reds had come to an end, Liverpool reacted by signing Darwin Nez from Benfica.
The two strikers mark a significant change from the past. Haaland and Nunez, who both play more like classic no. 9s than either Mané or Gabriel Jesus, will make City and Liverpool’s offenses a little bit more fixed.
Robbie Fowler, a former player for Liverpool, thinks Nez is the riskier option since Liverpool will need to rely more on his goals than City will on Haaland’s.
Manchester City might not rely on Haaland to score goals as much as Liverpool would, according to Fowler. “I can therefore see Nez to be more of a gamble.
Despite Haaland’s presence at City, I believe they still have other players who are capable of scoring goals. The teams are completely different, despite the fact that the players are undoubtedly comparable.
“Let’s face it, it undoubtedly involves some risk. Any player who joins a club is taking a small risk. I’m more than willing to take the risk.
But is it actually the case?
That is demonstrably untrue when one examines City’s statistics from the previous campaign. With 15 goals, Kevin de Bruyne led City in scoring in the Premier League. Riyad Mahrez scored 11, Phil Foden nine, lkay Gündoan eight, Raheem Sterling thirteen.
Jack Grealish, who cost City £100m a year ago, scored three goals!
