One of Jürgen Klopp’s youngest Liverpool players is poised to follow in Sadio Mané’s footsteps

One of Jürgen Klopp’s younger Liverpool players is poised to follow in Sadio Mané’s footsteps, providing the Reds manager with a big boost ahead of the upcoming campaign.
It won’t really hit you till later. The departure of Sadio Mané from Anfield still seems unbelievable and illogical. However, the former Liverpool winger is no longer under contract with the team, so the Reds must now work toward a new future.
Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool will experience some change in pre-season thanks to the three first team additions made by Julian Ward over the summer who are all under the age of 23. The 2022–23 season will see the emergence of a brand-new Liverpool, one that is supported by the club’s illustrious elders while simultaneously being revitalized by its promising young players.
Harvey Elliott has succinctly described that change. He used to look up to Mané as a child, just a few years ago, and idolize the Liverpool legend. He will now have the chance to follow in the legend’s shoes after briefly playing alongside him as teammates.
Elliott will play for Liverpool in the 2019–2020 season using the number 19, which was formerly worn by Mané. Elliott cited Mané as having had the greatest influence on the decision to modify the club’s official website.
“As a child, I recall owning a Sadio shirt with the number 19. So it’s a great pleasure to be able to wear it now that he’s gone.
