Newly promoted Premier League club open talks to sign Liverpool star

Newly promoted Premier League side AFC Bournemouth have opened talks to sign Liverpool defender Nathaniel Phillips.
Phillips played a pivotal role in helping Bournemouth secure their promotion to the Premier League last season. The 25-year-old defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth in the Championship, but is now back at his parent club for pre-season.
The likelihood of Phillips making the team in defense looks remote with the presence of Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, and Virgil van Dijk; therefore, another move away from the club is probably ideal for his development.
Phillips is almost at his peak at age 25, therefore it makes little sense for Liverpool to keep the defender.
Phillips doesn’t have much of a chance of having a future at Anfield unless Liverpool are considering a sale in the near future given that Jurgen Klopp has four Premier League quality center-backs at his disposal.
