Mohamed Salah’s contract was sent a clear and ‘unacceptable’ message by Liverpool.

A new deal for Mohamed Salah and his representatives are still being negotiated with Liverpool.
It would be “unacceptable,” according to Liverpool, to allow Mohamed Salah to leave the team for free.
After six years with the club, Salah’s current contract will expire at the end of the upcoming campaign. Although conversations between Liverpool and the Egyptian officials have been ongoing for some time, no agreement has yet been achieved.
In contrast to Sadio Mane, who has already departed Liverpool after six years on Merseyside, Salah’s future is still up in the air. This month, a £35 million deal with Bayern Munich was reached.
Jamie O’Hara, a former player for Tottenham Hotspur, has called the possibility that Salah could leave on a free transfer next summer “unacceptable.” The analyst continued by citing Liverpool’s “excellent business” in selling Mane to Bayern.
“Salah might now take a free throw, which is unacceptable. Liverpool has effectively established the standard for how a football club should conduct business.
“But they need to resolve this because Mo Salah cannot leave that football club on his own, ” I said.”
