David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, believes that Mohamed Salah, an Egyptian attacker, is an exceptional football player and that Liverpool is fortunate to have him.
After months of rumors regarding his future, Salah signed a new three-year contract extension at Anfield early this month. The former Everton and Manchester United manager believes the player and club are a good match because they have had such great success together.
In an interview with Egypt’s Remontada, Moyes remarked that “negotiations for players and clubs sometimes take time, everybody is trying to get the best deal.”
“It’s clear that the club fought tooth and nail to keep Mo Salah. As a former manager of Manchester United and Everton, it’s difficult for me to say this, but Salah would be at a really good club, and they have been incredibly successful. He is also a fantastic football player.

“I believe it’s a lovely place for him to be in, and Mo Salah is a great asset for Liverpool as well,” the author said.
Salah’s old contract was set to end next summer, and his new one, which is thought to pay him more than £350,000 a week, makes him the highest-paid player in the team’s history, will begin in the summer.
Since joining the Reds in June 2017, the former Chelsea and AS Roma forward has had great success while also shattering numerous records.
In his first season on Merseyside, he scored 44 goals across all competitions and helped Liverpool go to the Uefa Champions League final while receiving the PFA Premier League Player of the Year and the African Footballer of the Year awards.
Following that, Liverpool would win the Champions League and Premier League with Salah scoring 27 and 23 goals, respectively, before tallying 31 goals in each of the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons. The latter produced another PFA Award as the Reds won the Carabao and FA Cups.
Salah currently ranks seventh among Liverpool’s all-time leading goal scorers with 156 goals in 254 appearances over the course of his five years with the club.
When he signed his new deal, he commented, “It’s amazing to see myself as the ninth-highest top goal scorer for the club, especially when you do it in a short period.”
“I think the most important thing is to win trophies, as I’ve said a lot of times before. It’s something amazing. But in my opinion, winning games and scoring goals are also what earns you prizes. It’s something of which I’m proud.
