Mohamed Salah has signed a new three-year contract with Liverpool

Salah, Mohamed, remains! The Egyptian has committed his future to Liverpool by signing a new three-year contract, ending months of rumors and uncertainty.
The forward was approaching the end of his last contract, which was slated to expire in 2023, and would have been free to speak with foreign teams about a pre-contract arrangement as of January. Salah’s desire to stay put as well as the Reds’ desire for the 30-year-old to stay home have led to a breakthrough in the two parties’ negotiations.
Salah will reportedly sign a new contract at about £350k a week, making him the highest-paid player in club history and earning less than £400k per week, according to the ECHO. However, his new contract has many incentives, so depending on how well the players do, he could earn more. The forward’s career is now assured through the summer of 2025, when he will celebrate his 33rd birthday thanks to the three-year extension.
