Marquinhos a 19-year-old forward from Sao Paulo has signed a long term contract with Arsenal.

Arsenal’s first acquisition of the summer is Brazilian Marquinhos, who has signed a ‘long-term contract’ with the Gunners. At the youth level, the winger has represented Brazil.
Arsenal has completed the signing of Marquinhos, a talented Brazilian attacker from Sao Paulo, on a long-term contract.
The forward has 33 appearances for Sao Paulo and was a member of the team that won the Campeonato Paulista in 2021. He has represented Brazil at U16 and U17 levels.
The Gunners battled off competition from Wolves for the 19-year-signature, old’s and he is the club’s first summer acquisition. Marquinhos, a winger, made his debut for Sao Paulo at the age of 18 and has since scored four goals.
“We’re thrilled to have finalized the trade with Sao Paulo, as Marquinhos was a player we had been monitoring for a while,” said technical director Edu. He is still a young player at 19, therefore he is a guy to watch in the future.”We’re excited for Marquinhos to join us for pre-season, find his new home, and continue to develop and grow with us.”
