Manchester United may now buy Fabian Ruiz for for £21 million, according to UNITEDReport.

Fabian Ruiz, a midfielder for Napoli, may possibly be acquired by Manchester United in the summer transfer window for a pittance.

Apparently, Napoli can now sell the 26-year-old Manchester United target for for €25 million (£21 million), according to a report from Area Napoli. The 15-cap Spain international would cost United £17 million less than Calcio Mercato said Napoli was asking for.

Since Paul Pogba left on a free transfer, Erik ten Hag urgently needs to add to his central midfield squad at Old Trafford before the window closes. The Manchester United manager appears to be focusing on Frenkie de Jong (The Express) and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Calcio Mercato) as his top two targets.

However, it is clear that both of those agreements are giving United trouble. Furthermore, Ten Hag has the opportunity to get a top-tier player for a lot less money than it would cost to sign either De Jong or Milinkovic. -Savic

According to the Italian press, the Spaniard is available this summer for merely £21 million.

The Coaches Voice has compared Ruiz to Xavi, a legend of Spain and Barcelona. While he may not be on Xavi’s level, he undoubtedly shares some of his characteristics.

Ruiz is capable of playing either a deep-lying position or the traditional central midfield position. He is even capable of playing more forward in an attacking capacity.

Ruiz scored seven goals and provided five assists for Napoli in 38 appearances last year. He is a very good passer of the ball with exceptional technique and impressive vision. He is also a very intelligent football player.

The Spaniard averaged 67.9 passes per game in 32 Serie A games for Napoli last season, with a tremendously excellent completion rate of 90.5 percent. At Old Trafford, he would be a potent addition to ten Hag’s squad.

The way he holds back on delivering his passes till the very last second is what draws parallels to Xavi.

For £21 million, we believe Fabian Ruiz would be a great addition to Manchester United.
