According to a report by The Mirror, United will need to pay somewhere about £55 million to wrest the 19-year-old away from the Red Bull Arena before the 2022–23 season after Fabrizio Romano’s recent tweet revealed that Erik ten Hag’s team is “fully educated” on the Red Bull Salzburg center-forward.

It is easy to understand why Ten Hag would be interested in a deal to bring the Slovenian international to Manchester before the summer transfer window closes on September 1 given how fascinating a prospect Sesko very much appears to be.

In a 1-0 friendly victory over Liverpool on Wednesday, he also provided the game-winning goal and generally terrorized the opposing defense.

As a result, not only would Sesko’s acquisition this summer appear to position United and Ten Hag at center-forward for many years to come, but the idea of Liverpool regularly playing the 19-year-old might give Klopp nightmares.

That gives the Red Devils even more reason to agree to a £55 million deal for the Slovenian phenomenon in the coming weeks.
