Manchester United intends to offer Napoli Nigerian super star Victor Osimhen €140 million.

Manchester United are preparing an offer for Victor Osimhen of Napoli for this Thursday.
According to Il Mattino (via GetFootballNewsItaly), a renowned Naples store, super agent Jorge Mendes told the Italian giants to expect a “big offer” for their star.
Mendes worked “day and night” to secure an exit from Old Trafford for his stellar client Cristiano Ronaldo.
The legendary scorer pushed for a start all summer.
He blinded Erik ten Hag by refusing to sign up for United’s pre-season prep in July, only contacting his teammates after their tour. Anything but triumphant, his return would have dampened the mood around Carrington.
Ronaldo wants to play in the Champions League this season and has been buying from Mendes for months.
A number of European heavyweights turned down an offer, but Napoli were reportedly still interested.
Il Mattino claims Manchester United are even willing to cover a large chunk of Ronaldo’s wages as part of a deal that would see them replace the Portuguese star with Osimhen.
A deal which could be worth up to €140m is expected to be discussed between the clubs in the coming days. After yesterday’s narrow victory over Southampton, many viewers could see that United lacked a goalscoring center forward with the physical strength to deal with the Premier League defenders.
Marcus Rashford struggled in his battles with Armel Bella-Kotchap, while Cristiano Ronaldo showed his inability to get past the defense a few times when substituted.
Victor Osimhen certainly seems an ideal candidate to remedy these problems.
