Manchester United have reportedly turned off advances from Serie A powerhouse Juventus for Anthony Martial.

The Red Devils appeared to be parting ways with Martial this summer after the forward struggled in his six-month loan spell at Sevilla, where he only
scored once in 12 outings. Martial’s previous form with Manchester United was also unimpressive, and he openly clashed with then-interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
The arrival of Erik ten Hag, on the other hand, appears to have revitalized the Frenchman’s Manchester United career. Martial was among the first players to return to the club for pre-season, and his recent performances have impressed the Dutch maestro.
With Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still trying to push his way out of Manchester United, yet to join the rest of the squad, Martial thrived as the club’s attacking leader. He started all four of the Red Devils’ preseason friendlies in Thailand and Australia, scoring three goals.
Manchester United have reportedly informed Martial that he will not be sold this summer and that he will be a part of ten Hag’s plans for the forthcoming season. Furthermore, the likelihood of Ronaldo leaving this summer adds to Manchester United’s reluctance to let the attacker go.
Following the additions of Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo, the 26-year-old had recently dropped down the pecking order at Old Trafford. However, with the Uruguayan departing the club this summer and the latter rumored to be on his way out, Manchester United have effectively barred any potential exit for the Frenchman.
Martial has scored 79 goals and contributed 56 assists in 269 outings for Manchester United since signing as a highly rated teenager in 2015. Erik ten Hag will be hoping that his faith in the 26-year-old is rewarded. It would be interesting to watch who Serie A heavyweights Juventus look to for offensive reinforcements
