In an effort to break throug at Old Trafford, they hope to make headway in the negotiations for Antony “in the next week.” This is according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
After leaving reigning Eredivisie winners Ajax to become the Red Devils’ new manager, Erik ten Hag wants Antony to leave from Amsterdam and follow in his footsteps.

In order to improve his forward options, ten Hag has reportedly chosen Antony as his top target, according to Sky Sports.
The nine-cap Brazil international’s £68 million valuation, according to the source, is prohibitive, and Alfred Schreuder, who has replaced ten Hag in the Ajax dugout, is reportedly unwilling to approve the player’s departure.
It is believed that despite Antony’s desire to transfer to Old Trafford, Ajax has resisted Manchester United’s $51 million bid, which was made earlier this month.
