Liverpool
Man United fans will boycott the match against Liverpool in protest against the Glazers.

With the hashtag #EmptyOldTrafford, they are organizing a protest against the Glazer family’s “stewardship” of the team and requesting that United supporters who purchased tickets to this game not even visit the stadium. It’s not a “walk out,” like we occasionally witnessed at Arsenal in the final months of Arsene Wenger’s reign. ‘Don’t walk in’ is the sign.
Social media is currently being used to mobilize the movement, and you can find people who share this perspective by searching for hashtags other than #EmptyOldTrafford. Additionally, there are the hashtags.#GlazersOutNow, #ArnoldOut, #MurtoughOut, and #GreenandGoldUntiltheClubisSold, which are all directed towards the club’s current football director John Murtough.
Keep an eye out for Twitter profiles that display the green and yellow shield. They are simple to locate. Additionally, the Glazer-Arnold-Murtough combination has provided these soccer enthusiasts with plenty of food for thought.
Joel Glazer informed the supporters in April 2021, shortly after the European Super League initiative had failed owing to a strong and nearly universal backlash, “We got it wrong and we want to show that we can set things right.” United supporters at the time were rightfully dubious of his remarks.
They were entirely correct, and so far it has been established that Glazer did nothing but talk. The summer transfer window has been a complete disaster for United. When their primary transfer target, Frenkie de Jong, didn’t pan out, they completely lacked a backup strategy and failed to address their most obvious need, holding midfield.
Arnold handles all the significant business transactions, while Murtough is in charge of hiring the first team. With Arnold and Murtough in charge of restructuring the roster for a desperately needed rebuild, Arnold is essentially the new Ed Woodward. Or perhaps they are unaware that a rebuild is required? When it comes to transfer strategy, one wouldn’t think it could go any worse than Woodward, but here we are. Ronaldo’s desire to leave United has been known at least since June, but once more, United lacked a backup plan. Their squad of forwards is now beginning to appear to be almost as thin as their midfield. And what happens when you waste the entire summer chasing a guy who was never going to show up while remaining totally blind to a star player who only has his personal interests, not the team’s, in mind?
Buy in a panic, of course! After the season-opening defeat to Brighton, it seemed like the week got even worse when supporters learned that MUFC was interested in Marko.
Can you really blame them for being angry? Definitely not, I. But just be careful! There is no need to violate the law and destroy property, as was the case at Old Trafford the previous year.
