Liverpool
Liverpool was warned that Luis Diaz’s flaws would cost them a top-four finish in the Premier League.

After losing just two of their 38 league games, Jurgen Klopp’s team finished second in the Premier League last season, one point behind winners Manchester City. The Reds won the title in 2019–20 under Klopp, who succeeded Brendan Rodgers in October 2015, and have finished in the top four in each of their entire seasons.
Liverpool has become one of the most reliable teams in European football under Klopp, but things could change this year. In the hope that Diaz, a £37 million acquisition from Porto in January, can take Mane’s place, the club transferred Mane to Bayern Munich for £34 million and has not bought a direct successor this summer.
Liverpool will still be there, and after seeing Man City, they are still powerful. The London clubs will find it challenging to be sincere. Chelsea won’t place in the top four if they don’t purchase the correct striker. Arsenal will undoubtedly finish among the top four.
“Sadio Mane is no longer with Liverpool, and Diaz does not have the same impact, therefore Liverpool could lose out. Like against Fulham, Liverpool always allows goals to be scored. Even though I enjoy seeing them play, I predict City, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham.
In the 29th minute of the game in Frankfurt, Sadio Mane scored his first Bundesliga goal.
Liverpool may be without Sadio Mane this year.
In 28 games in all competitions, Diaz has contributed with six goals and five assists, making a solid start to life at Liverpool. Given that he started the 2-2 draw against Fulham on Saturday with Firmino and Salah, he appears to be a significant component of Liverpool’s new front line.
With six new players added to Antonio Conte’s squad, Tottenham looks to be one of Liverpool’s main rivals at the top of the league this season. Despite Tottenham’s dominating 4-1 victory over Southampton over the weekend, Gallas believes it is too soon to assess the team.
He stated, “I believe Conte can pull off a surprise.” “I’m not sure if they’ll win the championship. They looked excellent against Southampton, but they didn’t appear to be strong enough; perhaps this was because the season was only getting started.
“Perhaps we should give them a couple more games to demonstrate their true abilities. With Conte, that team is better than it was last year, therefore I believe they can succeed this year if they play consistently.
