Liverpool
Liverpool suffered a setback in their quest to sign a Barcelona star.
At the unveiling of Frankie Kessie at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, Mateu Alemany, Barcelona’s director of football, provided an update on the young player.
Regarding Gavi’s circumstance, he said: “An agreement’s general structure is present. We are steadfastly devoted to resolving this issue. He is currently 17 years old, and we are holding off on signing a contract longer than three years until he turns 18 on August 5. We still need to finish a few little touches, but we’ll get it done. 100 percent At Barça, Gavi will continue.”
