Liverpool poised to triple star salary if he completes transfer
Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer Alexis Mac Allister a huge cash deal if he completes a transfer from Brighton this summer.
The Argentina international has had an excellent season in the Premier League and was also key to his country’s victory at the 2022 World Cup in December.
Now it looks like Liverpool are making him one of their priorities to bolster their aging midfield this summer, and could offer him a hefty pay rise to around £150,000 a week if he moves to Anfield, according to Football Insider.
Mac Allister is certainly poised to make the move up to a big six club following his stellar development at Brighton, and looks set to suit Jurgen Klopp’s style of football particularly well.
LFC arguably never really replaced Georginio Wijnaldum, and Mac Allister could flourish in a similar box-to-box role due to his combination of fast work speed and good technical prowess. Liverpool fans will surely appreciate the news that their club is paying the necessary money to try and secure this deal.
