Liverpool
Liverpool officially unveiled Fabio Carvalho’s jersey number.

The paperwork around Fabio Carvalho’s transfer from Fulham are now complete, and his shirt number has been determined.
The offensive midfielder signs with the Reds for an initial cost of £5 million, with the possibility of additional payments of £2.7 million.
As of right now, Carvalho is officially Liverpool’s new No. 28.
The shirt had previously been worn by Steven Gerrard and Danny Ings, with Ben Davies being the most recent player to do so.
In addition to wearing No. 28, the Portugal Under-21 international donned it at Fulham after Davies gave it up when the young player arrived.
There are no intentions to loan Carvalho out for the 2022–23 season; he will begin preseason on Monday with his new teammates.
Given that the 19-year-old can play a variety of roles in the midfield and attack, it is unclear where Jurgen Klopp will want Carvalho to fit into his team.
According to reports, if Liverpool were set up in a formation that includes a No. 10, he might be deployed at first as a member of the front three.
After an unsuccessful attempt to complete the transfer at the end of the winter transfer window, an agreement to sign Carvalho was finally revealed in May.
Liverpool and Fulham agreed on a price near the conclusion of January’s deadline day, but neither team had enough time to complete the trade.
Liverpool, though, was adamant about getting their man, and four months later, they made Carvalho their first summer signing.
Harvey Elliott, a former teammate from the Fulham youth, who he will see again, anticipates that Carvalho will “settle very, very quickly” at Anfield.
