Liverpool legend Steve Nicol blasted Cristiano Ronaldo for leaving Old Trafford before match ends.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been chastised by Liverpool veteran Steve Nicol for leaving Old Trafford early during Manchester United’s friendly against Rayo Vallecano.
“The one thing it tells you is he’s entirely disengaged from the club and the team, as simple as that,” he explained.
“I’ve seen and know guys who have gone before the end of the game, and I’ve done it myself, but I’ve not been in the team, I’ve not been in the squad, and I’ve been ready to leave – I’ve been disgruntled.” He’s uninterested in what’s going on at the club. This guy really played and then departed before the finish, which screams “get me out of here.”
