According to reports, Liverpool has entered the competition to recruit Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak, who is also a target for Newcastle United, Real Madrid, and Arsenal.
Fichajes claims that four teams are interested in Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak, with Liverpool being one of them. The other three teams looking into the potential of signing the Sweden international, who is valued between €50 million and €60 million this summer, are Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Newcastle United.Isak moved from Borussia Dortmund to Real Sociedad in 2019. Since then, he has made 128 appearances for La Real, scoring 43 goals and setting up eight more. The Swedish player scored 17 league goals for the Basque club during the 2020–21 campaign, which was his greatest statistical year.
The 22-year-old was on the score sheet ten times in the just finished campaign across all competitions, making him one of the most sought-after young strikers in Europe. Some of the top teams on the continent are showing interest in Isak, who might leave this summer.
Isak is apparently a target for Newcastle United, who are supposedly prepared to make a club-record deal to acquire the player. According to recent sources, Real Sociedad would need to receive between €50 and €60 million in order to agree to sell the teenage striker, who has four years left on his Real Sociedad deal.
Arsenal, Liverpool, and Real Madrid have all entered the competition to sign the kid. Isak is viewed by Los Blancos as a capable player to have as Karim Benzema’s backup in the attacking unit. The Swedish international is reportedly being watched by Florentino Perez, although Real Madrid has not yet made any official moves.
As a substitute for Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal wants to bring in another attacker despite having recently bought Gabriel Jesus. Isak has been mentioned by Mikel Arteta as a potential signing, and the north Londoners are ready to make an attempt to get Isak this summer.
Following Sadio Mane’s transfer to Bayern Munich, Liverpool is also eager to recruit striking reinforcements. However, Real Sociedad’s €50–60 million asking price might compel them to explore for less expensive options. It will be intriguing to see how Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Newcastle United approach him as well as if or not Liverpool makes a counteroffer.
