They might also need a more box-to-box type acquisition now that Jordan Henderson is only a distant memory at Anfield. Andre of Fluminense is being pursued in light of this. As of today, Liverpool are in discussions with both players, claims Sky Sports journalist Melissa Reddy through X.

Southampton and Liverpool have begun talking about Romeo Lavia. He wants to go, but a fee compromise is still necessary, according to Reddy. “LFC is pursuing alternative possibilities.

They are negotiating for Andre with Fluminense. The club is considering the profiles of a controller and a progressive destroyer.

Given that they are almost certain to lose Thiago Alcantara at the end of the season, the need to get bodies through the door is even more obvious.

Unfortunately, it appears that Liverpool’s top brass may not be in agreement.
