Liverpool “gets £65m Jude Bellingham breakthrough” ahead of  Real Madrid

Liverpool are ‘considering’ several midfield options, including £65m duo Konrad Laimer (RB Leipzig) and Rúben Neves (Wolves), according to 90Min. Jurgen Klopp has admitted the Reds are looking for another signing.

Laimer can play as an eighth or six in the middle of the park and had five goals and six assists last season. German outlet Kicker report that the 25-year-old is valued at €30m (£25m).

Neves, on the other hand, is a player of interest to Liverpool for a long time. Pep Lijnders helped guide Neves through Porto academy before moving to Wolves with big bucks.

“I know him very well, his ambition, his passion for the game, his professionalism. I know what he brings to the team and this type of player always interests us,” Lijnders told O Jogo van Neves in 2019. “The I recognized. when I saw him at the Wolves. I saw technique, professionalism; I saw the 2013-14 player I knew. ”

The Telegraph reported earlier this summer that the wolves would request £ 75m for Neves’ signing, but The Mirror suggests he could be bought for just £ 40m, which would be more realistic for Liverpool. Jude Bellingham ‘deal

Liverpool have reached an “oral deal” with Jude Bellingham on the move to Anfield, according to Football Insider, who reports that the Reds can bring the Borussia Dortmund star back to England as early as January.

They suggest Liverpool believe they have reached a deal for Bellingham, apparently on a personal level rather than a transfer fee with his club, which he wants to keep the 19-year-old until 2023.

With Real Madrid – and likely others like Bellingham performing as planned this season – to compete for the England international’s signing, Liverpool will have to lay a lot of ground to secure an over-the-edge deal.

He has already been talked about as if he is confident of going to Liverpool next summer, but Bellingham will have a chance to impress against Manchester City, Sevilla and FC Copenhagen in the Champions League following the draw made earlier this week.

FSG transfer ‘tip’

Liverpool owner John W Henry was at Anfield on Saturday for the 9-0 in Bournemouth and a Reds fan accepted what some considered a “transfer suggestion” from the American. Asked about a midfield signing by a Liverpool fan sitting near the tunnel, Henry responded with a thumbs-up, with the video garnering plenty of traction on social media.

“There’s really nothing to say about [transfers],” Jürgen Klopp said in the second half of his press conference on Friday. “We’re looking for him and if he’s the right player we need him and if he’s not the right player we don’t need him.

“I know we’ve had this discussion from the start and it was me who said we don’t need a midfielder and you’re fine and I’m wrong. Now we’re going to pick a Midfielder.” This is the situation. But the specific point does not change – we will do something, but it has to be the right thing.”
