UEFA champions league draw: Group A, Liverpool and Rangers will face off in a battle of Great Britain.

The Scottish team, who beat PSV on Wednesday to qualify for the group stage, will meet the Reds for the first time in an official match, as well as in group matches against national champions Ajax and Napoli of Italy.
Liverpool and Rangers will face off in a British Champions League group round matchup; Erling Haaland is planning a reunion with Borussia Dortmund; Milan, Salzburg, and Zagreb are in Group E with Chelsea. Spurs drew favorable draws against Frankfurt, Sporting, and Marseille; Real Madrid and Celtic are paired together in Group F.
Erling Haaland will have a quick reunion with former club Borussia Dortmund after last season’s semi-finalists Manchester City were drawn in Group G against German club Sevilla and FC Copenhagen.
Chelsea meet former defender Fikayo Tomori after the 2021 winner was paired with AC Milan in Group E. Thomas Tuchel’s side will also face Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb and are seen as favorites to qualify for the round of 16.
Tottenham, runners-up in 2019 and back in contention for the first time since 2020, secured a favorable draw alongside Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt, Sporting Lisbon and Marseille in Group D.
Scottish champions Celtic meet Champions League holders Real Madrid in a glamorous clash in Group F, plus games against RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk, who return to the group stage for the first time since 2017.

The Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, which hosted Liverpool’s renowned comeback triumph over AC Milan in 2005, will host the 2022–23 Champions League final on June 10, 2023.
When is the Champions League round-of-16 draw?
The round-of-16 draw will take place on November 7 at 12pm CET in Nyon, Switzerland.
The 2022/23 Champions League final will take place on 10 June 2023 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, home to Liverpool’s famous comeback win against AC Milan in 2005.
