According to reports, Matheus Nunes, a 23-year-old Brazilian midfielder for Sporting Lisbon, is the player Jurgen Klopp is reportedly interested in signing as his fourth summer signing.

According to the Portuguese publication Correio da Manha, Liverpool’s objective to bolster the team is not yet complete.

Darwin Nunez, a star acquisition from Benfica, as well as offensive midfielder Fabio Carvalho and right-back Calvin Ramsey, have already joined Liverpool.

According to Correio da Manha, the Brazilian midfielder will initially cost the Reds £38.5 million, with an additional £4.2 million in add-ons.

The talented box-to-box midfielder would bring speed, great intensity, and work rate to Klopp’s title-contending team.

In all competitions last season, Sporting’s 23-year-old Nunes made 50 appearances and directly assisted nine goals.
