Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp revealed Thiago Alcantara back in training and praised Roberto Firmino scoring 100 goals for Reds.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed when Thiago Alcantara will be back in training and praised Roberto Firmino for scoring 100 goals for the Reds.
Liverpool have been going through something of a midfield crisis lately. In addition to Thiago, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jordan Henderson have all been injured.
This forced the club to enter the transfer market, signing Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo on seasonal loan from Juventus.
Italian club-state Liverpool have the option to make him permanent at the end of the season for £32.3m (€37.5m), which would be payable over two years. However, Liverpool are unlikely to do so as they are looking at Borussia Dortmund ace Jude Bellingham as a long-term solution for the midfield.
The Reds will face Everton rivals in the Premier League on Saturday. Before the match, Klopp was asked to provide an injury update on his team (via Liverpool Echo).
He started by talking about French central defender Ibrahima Konate, who has not yet played for Liverpool this season. “It’s a muscle injury and he’ll be out for a while. even beef. Kelleher continues to grow closer. It had something to do with aging and growing up.

However, there is good news when it comes to Thiago. Klopp says he could return to Liverpool training on Monday.

“Thiago is the next of all. I think he will be in team training early next week, “revealed the German.
Klopp also praised Firmino for his electric form between the injury of Diogo Jota and the disqualification of Darwin Nunez.
Firmino provided three goals and assists when Liverpool defeated Bournemouth 9-0 and Newcastle 2-1 in their last two games.
With this, the Brazilian crossed the milestone of 100 goals for Liverpool, a feat also achieved by Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.
Klopp thinks this is “special enough” for Firmino. “The timing was perfect (for his goals),” he said. “I really liked [Manchester] United’s game, although not many people would agree with me, then obviously Bournemouth and now.
“[Firmino] is really important for the way we play. He reached 100 goals, which is quite special. We bought him a t-shirt with 100 on it. The applause for him was almost as loud as the goal we scored against Newcastle to make it 2-1.

During his pre-match press conference, Klopp also spoke about Arthur’s arrival and Jota’s return.
The former Dortmund manager said of Arthur: “I’m very happy with his transfer. According to my information, it won’t happen until tomorrow, international clearance.
“He is the best age for a footballer. He knows how to set the pace, he is a very good passer. It is really good in tight spaces. I like it a lot.”

On Jota, Klopp continued: “Diogo will probably be there (tomorrow). He trained for the first time yesterday and will do it today ”.
