Liverpool Battle Arsenal and Chelsea for a 19-year-old £67 million La Liga superstar

According to a rumor, Liverpool may pursue the 19-year-old Villarreal star in addition to their high-profile acquisition of
Yeremy Pino, a £67 million youngster, is supposedly being chased by Liverpool against Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.
Pino, 19, attracted interest from some of the top clubs in Europe after an outstanding second season with the Villarreal first squad in 2016. The Spanish winger scored seven goals for Unai Emery’s team in all competitions, but he is more well-known for his ability to challenge rival full-backs.
Liverpool is reportedly eager to sign the teenager as a potential long-term replacement for the Premier League’s reigning MVP Salah, who will be 33 by the time his current deal expires in 2025, according to the Spanish publication Fichajes.
Pino has a heavy £67 million price tag, though, as a fully qualified Spain international with four caps and a goal to his credit. With Virgil van Dijk’s £76 million price tag and recently acquired striker Darwin Nunez’s £67.5 million price tag, the teenager would rank third among all-time player expenditures at Anfield.
Even if the Reds opt to splurge out, they can still fail to sign their man. The Liverpool Echo reports that in addition to Chelsea and Arsenal, title rivals Manchester City are also rumored to be interested in hiring him.
