Liverpool are doing everything they can to sign a ‘great’ player and they will be happy about it

Liverpool are so eager to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch that they have even agreed to a move this summer.
Gravenberch has emerged as a major focus for the Reds as they look to rebuild their midfield. And according to 90min, Jurgen Klopp is “pushing hard” for the

For now, the odds of that happening appear to be in play. Bayern would be hesitant to let Gravenberch go and inform him. However, the Dutch international is said to have turned down the position and has urged his club to “soften their position” and consider offers for him. If Bayern do this in the end, Liverpool will seemingly come first. 90min report Klopp’s interest isn’t limited to a permanent deal either, with a loan move for the Reds potentially also on the table. However, if they agree to let Gravenberch leave permanently, the Germans could double the initial £15m they paid Ajax for him.
Despite telling the Dutchman he wasn’t going anywhere, Liverpool would be ‘not deterred’ by Bayern’s no-sell stance. They aren’t the only ones interested, however, with Manchester United and Arsenal also said to be watching. Some Liverpool fans will be grumbling about landing a loan move this summer. What’s the point of hiding a temporary problem over a problem that needs a permanent solution?
But given the unique circumstances of this particular deal, maybe it could make sense for everyone.
If Liverpool accept a reasonable loan fee as well as an option to buy, there’s every chance they’ll end up signing Gravenberch anyway. With Bayern not yet ready to lose him, they would certainly be more willing to accept a transition deal. Photo by Roland Krivec/DeFodi Images via Getty Images

However, if the player continues to push to leave, they must change their approach. There’s no point in keeping an unfortunate Gravenberch around. If they can double their money for him and get off the hook, maybe it’s in their best interests. However, you can understand that they want to squeeze it hard. As Ruud Gullit told Sport Buzzer, the midfielder is a ‘wonderful’ player. But playing time hasn’t improved for him at Munich since Thomas Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann. As a result, he’s unlikely to back down. Seemingly excited at talk of a move to Anfield, Gravenberch appears to have made up his mind.
That will certainly encourage Liverpool here. If they had gotten even a hint that this deal wasn’t possible, they would have walked away long ago. Instead, he appears to be full steam ahead.
