LFC NEWSALERT: LIVERPOOL BOSS JURGEN KLOPP GIVES LATEST ON IBRAHIMA KONATE INJURY
Ibrahima Konate may be available for Saturday’s Premier League start at Fulham, according to Jurgen Klopp.
The centre-back left the field in the second half of Sunday’s 3-0 loss to Strasbourg at Anfield out of caution, and Sepp van den Berg took his place. The young and significantly altered Reds team was soundly defeated by the Ligue 1 team.
Konate walked off the field after being examined by physiotherapist Chris Morgan, then vanished down the tunnel for more testing, although Klopp claims he is not very concerned about the defender’s absence from the Saturday kickoff.
