Steelers star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick leaves game against Jags with hamstring injury…

Pennsylvania (AP) — Minkah Fitzpatrick, a free safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers, left Sunday’s game against Jacksonville in the first quarter due to a hamstring injury.
The three-time All-Pro Fitzpatrick stumbled on the wet Acrisure Stadium ground while covering Jacksonville’s second play. After lying down for a short while, he moved off the field on his own.
Fitzpatrick headed to the locker room to be assessed instead of the blue medical tent on the sidelines. Fitzpatrick was initially deemed unlikely to return by the team, but they later declared him out a few minutes later.
Fitzpatrick was replaced on the back end of Pittsburgh’s secondary by Damontae Kazee.
