Juventus ‘increases £20 million proposal’ in massive Roberto Firmino push, muve confirmed by Liverpool .

News Digest While Juventus is still interested in a move for Roberto Firmino, another trade involving Liverpool has finally gained some sort of formal approval.
Juventus reportedly made a £20 million offer earlier in the summer season to try and entice Roberto Firmino away from Liverpool. Although the narrative has subsequently died down, it now seems that interest was never lost.
The idea to return with a higher offer is credited to the massive Italian teams. According to Fichajes, Liverpool could receive this “in the next days,” with the intention of coming to a decision “as soon as feasible.”
According to reports, Firmino wants to transfer because the World Cup is coming up later this year. Given that the Old Lady recently lost Paulo Dybala to Juventus on a free transfer, Juventus makes sense as a destination.
However, it seems unlikely that Firmino would actively pursue a trade. The Brazilian is content and at ease as always, and he has maintained a fit appearance throughout preseason. All concerned parties appear to expect him to stay at Liverpool for at least another year, provided he stays injury-free. He can anticipate playing a little more in the upcoming season. To change that viewpoint, a significantly greater bid would be required.
