Jurgen Klopp has delivered an injury update on the fitness of his Liverpool squad after their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sustained a hamstring injury during their first preseason victory of the summer, according to Klopp,
In addition, with an eye on the Community Shield matchup with Manchester City at Wembley, Klopp discussed his go-to goalie Alisson.
Diogo Jota, who will try to help Klopp replace the vacuum created by Sadio Mane’s departure for Bayern Munich, was also mentioned in the story.
for him and us. Ox had looked pretty fantastic and had trained really well all the time,” remarked Klopp of the midfielder’s hamstring issue.
“Ox has experienced it in the past during his intensive phases. We’ve dealt with worse circumstances; this is simply a muscle issue.
“I have no idea how long it will take exactly. But when he returns, everything will be OK. He is a top-tier athlete who can support us.
He said, “Ali has a chance for the game against City, but Diogo does not. We’re prepared for the entire season, but with Ali, it’s nothing serious. It simply isn’t ideal.
He shouldn’t be playing right now and can’t train as a goalie with it, but he can still do some other things. These things do occur. It’s a little issue, but we must proceed with caution.

For all players, but especially for those like Chamberlain who have had a particularly difficult time with injuries in recent seasons, the preseason is very crucial.
The Englishman wanted to prove to Klopp that he could be counted on in the middle of the field, where Liverpool could use more goals.
However, this setback has occurred at an unfortunate time, and Klopp has attempted to demonstrate his confidence in the player who has just one year left on his contract.
