Liverpool have been linked with a transfer of Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah.

The 20-year-old has been an important player for the Spanish club and his performances have caught the attention of top clubs.

The former Arsenal Academy graduate has been linked with a return to England this summer and a report from Fichajes claims Jurgen Klopp’s club admire the talented young midfielder and would like the Reds to sign him.

The 20-year-old is an incredible talent with a bright future ahead of him. He could become a top flight player for Liverpool with the right training and experience. It’s no secret that Liverpool need central midfield reinforcements and the USA international would be a solid long-term investment for them.

Valencia are currently struggling to survive in the Spanish top flight and Musah will look to leave them if they fall at the end of the season. The 20-year-old is too good to play in the second division next season, especially as a number of top clubs are keen to secure his services.

Liverpool are set to lose Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner on a free transfer this summer. They need to replace the trio appropriately and Musah would be a quality acquisition. The chance to play in the Premier League next season could be an attractive option for the young midfielder and a move to England could speed up his development, especially when working under a world-class manager like Klopp.

Liverpool shatter Man Utd and Man City plot plans as Jurgen Klopp takes charge of £77 million worth star who can solve key Reds problem

After weeks of scouting, Liverpool are reportedly trying to sign Benfica defender Antonio Silva this summer.

The Reds could face competition for his services with Manchester City and Manchester United also interested in the 19-year-old.
Only last summer, Silva signed a senior contract with Benfica until 2027, so the price for his services will be very high.

The centre-back’s contract does indeed come with a £77m release clause, Football Insider have pointed out. With three Premier League heavyweights in competition, Liverpool may have to pay that sum.

Silva has played 26 league games for Benfica this year, scoring three goals.

With the Portuguese giants leading the league by four points this season, the teenager has been crucial to their success.
Silva, a strong centre-back with a long passing range, could end up being a great long-term signing for Liverpool. But only if they can sign him before Manchester City and Manchester United. Klopp plans Liverpool defense overhaul

It is well known, Jürgen Klopp wants to strengthen his defense this summer. In fact, the manager is said to be worried that his backline won’t be able to fight for the titles.

Their lack of depth at centre-back has been revealed by the recent injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate, with Joe Gomez and Joel Matip struggling to replace the injured duo.

This was one of the main factors that allowed Klopp’s side to be seventh in the current Premier League. However, the aging midfielder also proved to be a problem. As mentioned in previous reports, Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Evan Ndicka, who will be available on a free transfer, is one of Liverpool’s main defensive targets.

Ndicka, on the other hand, would be considered by Napoli as a replacement for Kim Min-jae, who could move to Man City.

For some time there has also been talk of Josko Gvardiol in relation to the transfer to Anfield. But with RB Leipzig imposing an £80m price tag on him, Liverpool can no longer sign the powerhouse.

The Reds may therefore have to look elsewhere for a new centre-back. Silva would be a nice addition as he has the potential to become a top player in the future.

Klopp’s current priority is to secure a place in European competition next season. The Champions League is almost certainly out of reach. However, there is always competition for the Europa League and the Europa Conference League.

What is certain is that Liverpool will refresh both their defense and midfield this summer no matter what.
