Following a lackluster playoff campaign, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ squad has left supporters unsatisfied with their progress in free agency.

After the Cowboys were not selected in the Derrick Henry sweepstakes, offensive lineman Tyron Smith is bidding the team farewell with passion as he has signed a contract with the Jets. After being cut by the team, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch declared his retirement.

Cowboys officials, like as Jones and head coach Mike McCarthy, are now responding to the startling piece of information

In response to the news that his former LB was leaving the NFL, Jones sent out a lengthy letter.

According to Jones, who spoke to the Cowboys’ official website, “you rarely come across a player like Leighton, who grew up playing eight-man football only to first play the 11-man game at the major collegiate level and excel.”

His enthusiasm and love for the game were infectious, and he made an impact as soon as he arrived.

“We shall sincerely miss his toughness, tenacity, motivation, drive, and football IQ. Leighton was much more than just a skilled athlete; he also possessed the strong moral fiber and character traits that define him.

McCarthy remarked, “Leighton is the exact kind of player and person a coach feels very fortunate to have on their team.

” “Not to mention his skill at the game, his leadership, character, tenacity, passion, and will to win were all at the pinnacle.

Our team’s effect from Leighton went beyond defense. He established a standard of play that all of our players were to follow.
