In response to Sadio Mane’s worries, Jurgen Klopp asserts that Mohamed Salah has found a new Liverpool partnership.

Darwin Nunez replaced Sadio Mane, who Jurgen Klopp saw leave in the summer, and it immediately appears that the two are getting along.
Darwin Nunez, a summer addition, and Jurgen Klopp are the new attacking duo that Mohamed Salah has found.
The Uruguayan was acquired by Liverpool for a club-record sum from Benfica, and his job is to replace Sadio Mane, who left to pursue a fresh opportunity with Bayern Munich. There were concerns about how the team would do without Salah and Mane, who have been essential to the success on Merseyside in recent years.
The Egyptian has benefited from Mane’s competitiveness, which has enabled him to become extraordinarily prolific. Klopp has previously discussed their conflict within, saying: “You and your teammate want to score goals as you play together. That’s typical. The goal is for them to score.”
The Liverpool manager is convinced Salah can maintain that internal competition with the summer acquisition now that Nunez is a member of their ranks. On the pair, he said: “Undoubtedly, the partnership is cool. Both of them are focused on scoring and being in key spots. Mo is having a great time right now. Darwin is becoming settled. Luis would have benefited greatly from the goal against Fulham that he missed.”
Nunez scored Liverpool’s first goal of the season against Fulham, becoming the player with the most Premier League goals. He gave them their first equalizer at Craven Cottage, and Salah’s late goal in west London, which Nunez helped with, gave them a point.
Klopp was thrilled with the new dimension Nunez brought his team and backed him to keep scoring despite admitting his team was below par in their season opening.
He stated: “You need that extra drive and the distinction as well, which certainly makes it harder for the opposition. Yes, it was a fantastic goal, but it was also possible to score another one or even two. He is therefore involved in many goalscoring situations, which is awesome and the reason we have to call him up.”
Nunez gives the Reds a primary attacking option as their forward line develops. Diogo Jota replaced Roberto Firmino, the team’s No. 9 for a long time. Mane played through the middle toward the end of last season when Luis Diaz’s arrival brought additional competition.
