Thiago Alcantara took advantage of the chance to joke around with Mohamed Salah, a Reds teammate, as the Reds continue to get ready for the new season.

On Friday, Jurgen Klopp’s team plays in Singapore against Crystal Palace before wrapping up their preseason schedule with friendlies against RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, and Strasbourg. On July 30, they play in the Community Shield at Leicester’s King Power Stadium against Manchester City.

Liverpool lost their opening preseason game to Manchester United by a score of 4-0, but the team’s spirits haven’t been affected. Thiago has been boosting morale by making fun of Salah’s topless Instagram photos.

On social media, the Egyptian superstar frequently shares topless photos of himself to display his remarkable body. By flaunting his abs and making a silly expression while riding an exercise bike next to Salah, Thiago poked fun of the images.

Salah couldn’t help but smile at Thiago as goalkeepers Alisson and Adrian laughed in the background at the Spanish midfielder’s antics. All four of these players, who took part in Liverpool’s significant loss to United, could suit up against Palace on Friday.

After suffering yet another hamstring injury in practice, Diogo Jota is predicted to miss the game, and Alisson is also dealing with pain. Klopp fielded 32 players in Bangkok’s match against United, with no outfielder seeing more than 30 minutes of action.

Diogo is hence unlucky. Diogo missed the game [against United] due to an injury he sustained before the conclusion of the season, according to Klopp on Thursday. He fully trained yesterday and sustained an injury again, which is incredibly unfortunate, but we must wait for the outcomes.

He underwent a second evaluation this morning, so we must wait and see. Ali wasn’t fully recovered; he had already finished the session and was warming up when he felt something, so we now have to wait as well. That’s all, in my opinion; the others are all good.

When asked about his lineup for the match against Palace, Klopp responded, “Some might get 45 minutes tomorrow, we have to see, but again it’s the time of year where we have to be incredibly careful with different things. These are the only boys we have; they are our football players.

Klopp continued, saying: “The most crucial thing is to arrive here and allow the public to witness us in person as well as on television. 12,000 individuals have come to the open training session today, which is amazing! It’s very wonderful.”

Joel Matip acknowledges that his “very difficult” new Liverpool partner Darwin Nunez.
