Hull FC secures Championship loan for winger.

Hull FC have struck a loan agreement for Liam Tindall, who will join Championship side Bradford Bulls on a short term basis.

The 22-year-old will now look forward to some first-team action in the sport’s second tier after recently appearing twice for the reserves against St Helens and Warrington Wolves.

Tindall, one of nine new signings for 2024, has failed to break into the Black and Whites’ first-team this season, having injured his thumb in pre-season. He also had a minor knee ailment that held him out, and Lewis Martin’s strong performance this year also played a role.

Martin, 19, has played on the left wing in all but one game this season, earning ten appearances. And, as the homegrown winger, who joined Hull FC after a term in Hull City AFC’s academy, continues to excel, the club is looking to bring Tindall to West Yorkshire.

Tindall, who joined Hull from the Leeds Rhinos, has played three first-team games this season, against the Leigh Leopards, the Huddersfield Giants, and the Rhinos. He is no stranger to Bradford, having spent time with Odsal in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He’s made nine appearances for the Bulls and scored six tries.

Meanwhile, Hull are poised to back Martin again for Sunday’s trip to the London Broncos, with new acquisition Tom Briscoe playing on the right side after signing an 18-month contract last month.
