The Reds are believed to have given up on trying to recruit Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and instead decided to utilize the money to bolster other positions.

It appears that Liverpool has all but lost up on luring Jude Bellingham to Anfield after more than a year of nonstop rumors and conjecture.

The young star has the world at his feet, and while his future is likely to lie outside of Borussia Dortmund, his present club, it is also not anticipated to include the Reds. Real Madrid and Manchester City are still interested in signing the 19-year-old, but Jurgen Klopp is now more likely to focus on other players.

This decision is said to have been influenced by Liverpool’s impending summer renovation in an effort to improve upon this season’s poor performance. Those at the top of the Reds’ organization think that the money spent on Bellingham would now be better spent bolstering several different areas.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and James Milner all have contracts that expire at the end of the current campaign, and it is unknown how many of them will be renewed.

Because the team’s captain Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara are both in their 30s and Fabinho has had a difficult season, Klopp must make changes in the midfield.

Because of this, Mirror Football has identified some alternate choices the Liverpool manager might consider while examining the Reds’ potential lineup for the upcoming season if they decide to divert their financial resources elsewhere.

Given that current No. 1 Alisson is widely regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world, there won’t likely be any changes between the sticks.

Left-back The Reds still have excellent options at center-back with Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, and Joel Matip all available to call on. Andy Robertson is anticipated to start as usual.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been heavily criticized for his defensive prowess this season, but Klopp has always been the first to fervently and openly give the right-back his complete support, so he is unlikely to spend a lengthy amount of time on the sidelines.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has received harsh criticism for his defensive abilities this season, but Klopp has always been the first to vehemently and publicly show his unwavering support for the right-back, so he is unlikely to remain sidelined for an extended period of time.

Ivan Fresneda of Real Valladolid has drawn interest from a broad range of clubs, including Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, and it is commonly believed that he will depart Spain in the summer.

Although he is under contract to his present team through 2025, Valladolid are unlikely to stand in his way due to the sheer size of the clubs knocking on his door, and Liverpool might swoop in.

The Anfield supporters are likely to be far more enthusiastic about rumors linking Mason Mount with a move to the red half of Merseyside than with Bristol City prodigy Alex Scott, who has been suggested as an alternative.

The Chelsea star’s contract with the Blues expires in less than 15 months, so this summer will be Todd Boehly and company’s last chance to make a profit on the 24-year-old Champions League winner.

Although Mount and Scott may not cost Liverpool much money, they will need to pay a significant sum if they want to entice Alexis Mac Allister away from the Amex and bring him to Anfield.

Arsenal and Chelsea, two other Premier League teams, are interested in signing the Argentina international, but the Reds are hoping to lure the World Cup champion to Anfield.

There is a reason some of Europe’s top clubs hold the 24-year-old in such high respect; he is technically gifted, has an exceptional ability to split lines, and has a sharp eye for goal.

Due to the turmoil, Klopp will try to balance the midfield next season by starting Thiago or Fabinho, but new faces should emerge.

From an offensive perspective, a front three with Darwin Nunez operating through the middle and Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo on either flank is expected to be seen frequently in the next season.

Due to his versatility, Diogo Jota may be used in a variety of attacking roles depending on the situation.
