A very satisfying three points as the winning run continues, we are starting to look like our old selves here.

The scousers stole the show with both their goals and performances as the Reds cruised to victory to get within a point of both Newcastle and Man United.

Big fist pumps from the boss at the end too, always great to see.

Aston Villa are up next for the final Anfield outing of the season this weekend, let’s all pray that Firmino’s fitness will allow for a fitting farewell!

A great night for the Reds ends with a clean sheet and all three points, not too shabby at all!

It was a hat-trick of assists for the first time for Salah in a red shirt, but his wait to overtake Gerrard continues.

Jones impressed once again and will be delighted to come away with a brace, if a little bit disappointed not to take home the match ball.

Seven in a row!

Nice work by Jota

A tidy run inside Leicester’s penalty area is eventually cleared away by the Foxes.

3️⃣ minutes added 🕗

We’re into injury time at the King Power and, in truth, both managers are probably ready for the final whistle here.

You’ll Never Walk Alone being heard before the final whistle is always a sign of a good night’s work.

🦊🔁 Souttar replaces Evans

The substitutions keep on coming, with Jonny Evans the latest to be replaced for the hosts.

Quick start for Elliott

Elliott wastes no time in introducing himself to the action, with a decent run ending with his shot being blocked inside the area.

🔴🔁 Elliott on for Salah

The Egyptian won’t be able to overtake Gerrard in the all-time goalscorers list, it’ll just have to be Saturday instead then!

🎶 Klopp’s song is next

The manager is the latest to be serenaded by the away supporters, he won’t be happy about that!

Konate booked

Konate is given his fourth yellow card of the season for a foul on Maddison, it looked harsh!

5️⃣ to go

This one is in the bag, can Liverpool nick another before the final whistle?

🔴🔁 Carvalho on for Jones

A night to remember for Jones has come to an end as he is replaced by Carvalho for his second appearance since March’s international break.

Alisson alert again

Leicester manage to break from a Trent corner, with Alisson once again quick off his line to clear the ball away from Daka.

😬 How did he miss that?!

Salah gets in one-on-one with acres of space and time to pick out his spot, but curls the chance wide in what was a glorious opportunity to make it four.

Good job that one didn’t matter, Mo!

Faes denies Salah

The Egyptian does well to get in behind Leicester’s defence, but Faet recovers well to pinch the ball with a last-ditch tackle.

🔥 Trent on fire

He has been a man possessed since his slight position tweak last month and it is a goal that could consign Leicester to the Championship.

What a shame, ey?

🥳 Trent makes it 3

A stunning free-kick finds the top corner to make it 3-0 to the Reds, and it is no less than they deserve.

Get in thereeeee!!!!!!

Salah forces save

The Egyptian King cuts in onto his left foot in Leicester’s area and has his shot stopped by Iversen.

His wait to overtake Gerrard goes on.

🦊🔁 Thomas on for Leicester

Dean Smith makes his first change as Ricardo is replaced by Luke Thomas.

Liverpool in control

Not much to report on the pitch in the last few minutes as the Reds continue to control possession, Leicester currently chasing shadows.

Firmino feeling the love

Bobby’s song looks like it could continue to full-time at this rate, I’m not sure I’m ready to say goodbye to him on Saturday.

🇧🇷 Siiiiiii señor!

That’s some rendition of the Firmino song from the away end. Booming out around the King Power. He’s guaranteed some farewell at Anfield on Saturday.

Another good spell

A nice move ends with another Curtis Jones attempt as the Reds continue to search of a third to kill the game.

🎶 The travelling Kop show appreciation for Alisson

The goalkeeper’s song is being sung loudly and proudly by the away end after another good stop.

🇨🇴 Diaz drives forward

The forward makes a nice run and puts the ball across goal, but nobody is there to get on the end of it.

Barnes forces a save

Alisson had to be at his best to steer a 20-yard effort from Barnes around the post for a Leicester corner.

Jones desperate for hat-trick

The midfielder keeps popping up in Leicester’s box, with his latest attempt flagged up for offside.

More magic from Trent

A delightful ball over the top forces Iversen out of his penalty area, with Gakpo able to head the ball over the Leicester keeper before they eventually clear their lines.

Early scare

Maddison gets in behind the Liverpool back line, but the flag goes up for offside.

We are off again!

No changes for either side, let’s get a third!

⚽️ Almost time to get back underway

The teams are back out on the pitch, more of the same please, Liverpool!

A great half for the Reds after having to withstand some early pressure from the hosts.

Brilliant to see Jones get on the scoresheet, not once but twice, Klopp’s team talk might be a short one here!

Ole! Ole!

Each pass is met with cheers from the away supporters, this is what it’s all about!

4️⃣ added on ⏱

The fourth official has given us an additional four minutes of first half action, presumably due to the knock Barnes got earlier.

Robertson volleys wide

The left-back swivels and shoots from close-range as he hits the side netting, but the linesman flags for offside anyway.

Liverpool in control here now.

Gakpo denied

It is fair to say Liverpool have taken it up a few notches in the last five minutes, as Gakpo has a close-range shot saved by Iversen.

A wonderful strike from Jones again, a first half brace for Liverpool’s No.17!

VAR checking again

Another tight offside call for the officials…..

Goal given, phew!

Another cheer comes from the away end as the referee confirms the goal will stand, up the Reds!

😕 VAR checking for offside

Hold on a minute……

Jones puts the Reds in front

Another inch-perfect ball in from the left foot of Trent is met by Jones at the far post, get innnnnnn!

Fabinho blasts one over

A mazy run by Jones is ended by Soumare after he is man-handled on the edge of the box, which the referee seemed to be happy enough with!

The ball then falls to Fabinho, only for his shot to sail over Iversen’s goal.

Diaz drags it wide

A nice run from the Colombian unfortunately ends with the forward hitting the side netting.

Harvey Barnes is receiving treatment after landing awkwardly from a coming together with Diaz.

A rendition of the national anthem rings out from the home end during a series of the usual back-and-forth chants between both sets of fans.

If Everton do stay up, seeing these relegated to the Championship wouldn’t be a bad consolation!

Liverpool easing their way in

A corner won by Henderson eventually finds its way into the hands of Iversen, but Liverpool are beginning to find their feet here.

🎯 Danger man?

No player has scored more goals against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool than Jamie Vardy.

Exquisite pass by Trent

A delightful chipped ball from Alexander-Arnold finds Gakpo in the box, with Leicester eventually managing to clear the ball away for a corner.

Better from Liverpool

The Reds have got their foot on the ball as Salah tries to pick out Diaz with a cross, only to be cleared away by Faes.

Vardy forces a save

A sumptuous volleyed pass by Maddison gets Leicester in behind Liverpool again, with Alisson saving the Foxes’ best chance of the game so far.

Alisson switched on

Jamie Vardy is twice played in behind Liverpool’s back line, only for the holy goalie to be quick off his line to sweep up the danger.

🇺🇾 Nunez shows his support

The Uruguayan has not made tonight’s matchday squad but has made the trip to the King Power to cheer on his teammates along with Bobby Firmino.

❤️ Supporting from the stands.

Hopefully both are back in the squad for the weekend. pic.twitter.com/nzTpuzpitO
