A very satisfying three points as the winning run continues, we are starting to look like our old selves here.
The scousers stole the show with both their goals and performances as the Reds cruised to victory to get within a point of both Newcastle and Man United.
Big fist pumps from the boss at the end too, always great to see.
Aston Villa are up next for the final Anfield outing of the season this weekend, let’s all pray that Firmino’s fitness will allow for a fitting farewell!

FULL TIME: LEICESTER 0-3 LIVERPOOL
A great night for the Reds ends with a clean sheet and all three points, not too shabby at all!
It was a hat-trick of assists for the first time for Salah in a red shirt, but his wait to overtake Gerrard continues.
Jones impressed once again and will be delighted to come away with a brace, if a little bit disappointed not to take home the match ball.
Seven in a row!

😬 How did he miss that?!
Salah gets in one-on-one with acres of space and time to pick out his spot, but curls the chance wide in what was a glorious opportunity to make it four.
Good job that one didn’t matter, Mo!

The Egyptian does well to get in behind Leicester’s defence, but Faet recovers well to pinch the ball with a last-ditch tackle.

He has been a man possessed since his slight position tweak last month and it is a goal that could consign Leicester to the Championship.

HALF TIME: LEICESTER 0-2 LIVERPOOL
A great half for the Reds after having to withstand some early pressure from the hosts.
Brilliant to see Jones get on the scoresheet, not once but twice, Klopp’s team talk might be a short one here!
48′
Ole! Ole!
Each pass is met with cheers from the away supporters, this is what it’s all about!
45′
4️⃣ added on ⏱
The fourth official has given us an additional four minutes of first half action, presumably due to the knock Barnes got earlier.
42′
Robertson volleys wide
The left-back swivels and shoots from close-range as he hits the side netting, but the linesman flags for offside anyway.
Liverpool in control here now.
38′
Gakpo denied
It is fair to say Liverpool have taken it up a few notches in the last five minutes, as Gakpo has a close-range shot saved by Iversen.
37′
GIVEN!
A wonderful strike from Jones again, a first half brace for Liverpool’s No.17!
37′

32′

Hold on a minute……
32′
Jones puts the Reds in front
Another inch-perfect ball in from the left foot of Trent is met by Jones at the far post, get innnnnnn!
31′
GOOOAALLLLLLLL
31′
Fabinho blasts one over
A mazy run by Jones is ended by Soumare after he is man-handled on the edge of the box, which the referee seemed to be happy enough with!
The ball then falls to Fabinho, only for his shot to sail over Iversen’s goal.
29′
Diaz drags it wide
A nice run from the Colombian unfortunately ends with the forward hitting the side netting.
Harvey Barnes is receiving treatment after landing awkwardly from a coming together with Diaz.
A rendition of the national anthem rings out from the home end during a series of the usual back-and-forth chants between both sets of fans.
If Everton do stay up, seeing these relegated to the Championship wouldn’t be a bad consolation!
19′
Liverpool easing their way in
A corner won by Henderson eventually finds its way into the hands of Iversen, but Liverpool are beginning to find their feet here.
🎯 Danger man?
No player has scored more goals against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool than Jamie Vardy.
16′
Exquisite pass by Trent
A delightful chipped ball from Alexander-Arnold finds Gakpo in the box, with Leicester eventually managing to clear the ball away for a corner.
14′
Better from Liverpool
The Reds have got their foot on the ball as Salah tries to pick out Diaz with a cross, only to be cleared away by Faes.
12′
Vardy forces a save
A sumptuous volleyed pass by Maddison gets Leicester in behind Liverpool again, with Alisson saving the Foxes’ best chance of the game so far.
10′
Alisson switched on
Jamie Vardy is twice played in behind Liverpool’s back line, only for the holy goalie to be quick off his line to sweep up the danger.
