Liverpool
“He made it all possible,” Jurgen Klopp said in an emotional homage to Sadio Mane.

After Sadio Mane completed his £35.1 million transfer, Jurgen Klopp acknowledged that “our loss is Bayern’s gain” while praising him as “one of Liverpool’s finest ever players.”
It’s an important time. Anyone attempting to pretend differently is futile, says Klopp.
We must recognize the gravity of the departure of one of Liverpool’s all-time best players.
After six fruitful years at Anfield, Mane has agreed to a three-year contract with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
When Mane moved from Southampton in 2016, several supporters questioned whether the £30 million transfer fee would be worth it, but Mane beat the odds to become one of the best players in the world.
It is understandable that Klopp was moved to tears as he paid respect to his long-serving No. 10, given he was the driving force behind Liverpool’s comeback under his leadership.
He told the club’s official website, “He leaves with our appreciation and our love.
“I’m not sure it would have been able to understand in that moment if someone had told us what he would go on to contribute and achieve for this club. Not the scale of it at least.
There was dissatisfaction during talks between Liverpool and Bayern, with the German club apparently submitting two derisory offers before the £35.1 million package was completed, but Klopp carries no ill will towards Mane.
“I appreciate entirely his decision and I’m sure our supporters do also,” he stated.
Sadio must be loved if you support LFC; this is non-negotiable. This can be done while acknowledging that Bayern benefits from our loss.
“Except, of course, when he plays against us, we wish him nothing but success in every game he plays. I have no doubt that his star will keep rising.
World-class player, said Klopp. Real club lord! ideal example! The ideal team member! We will miss you, you compassionate, caring guy!
