Full Liverpool squad available to play Aston Villa as Reds receives Roberto Firmino boosts and five out

Full Liverpool squad who can play at Aston Villa has five caps but Roberto Firmino receives reinforcements
Liverpool meet Aston Villa in the Premier League, with five players set to miss the final must-see home game of the season. The Reds have little hope of a top four
It’s now seven wins for Liverpool and there are no signs of it slowing down. A convincing win over Leicester last time out put Klopp’s side on the brink of Champions League qualification, but that’s far from confirmed.
Newcastle United and Manchester United are currently ahead of the Reds, occupying third and fourth place respectively. Just one point separates Liverpool and Erik ten Hag’s side, but Newcastle’s win over Brighton means the Magpies’ third place finish is all but confirmed. That fourth place is still up for grabs, but Liverpool’s fate is not in their hands. A win against Aston Villa would provide a crucial boost in the top four contest.
Against Aston Villa, Jürgen Klopp has a solid lineup to choose from, despite not being able to attend the game in person. The Liverpool manager was fined £75,000 and suspended for two matches – the second suspended until the end of next season – for his post-match comments about referee Paul Tierney after the Reds beat Spurs 4-3 on April 30.
Klopp will then miss the final home game for James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita, who will all leave the club in the summer. Pep Lijnders will be in charge of the game but to make things easier he will have an almost fully fit first team.
After being spotted in training earlier in the week, Klopp has confirmed Firmino will be available for the Aston Villa game.
Darwin Núñez was unable to play against Leicester with a minor toe injury and Klopp confirmed the injury was worse than expected. During his press conference, he said: “Darwin will not be available. Inflammation of the tendon in his toe.
Naby Keïta has also not been seen in training and with Curtis Jones impressing in recent games, he is unlikely to find a place in the starting XI. Thiago Alcântara, Stefan Bajčetić and Calvin Ramsay will miss the end of the season due to injuries.

Premier League just offered Reds transfer prompt as two ‘targets’ emulate Erling Haaland
Two reported transfer goals from Liverpool have just been placed alongside Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in a Premier League list.
In 2019/20, Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was named Premier League Young Player of the Season.
Alexander-Arnold scored four goals and had 13 assists in 38 appearances for the Reds as they raced to the title with 99 points.
Only Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne (20) scored more goals than the Englishman that year.
Alexander-Arnold, of course, beat off competition from the likes of Jack Grealish, Mason Mount and Marcus Rashford to claim the prize.
He met the criteria (23 or fewer at the start of the season) to qualify for this year’s award, but his recent better form in a new role has come too late to force him to compete.
Premier League just offered Liverpool transfer prompt as two ‘targets’ emulate Erling HaalandThe Premier League announced its shortlist of eight candidates on Friday, with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland the runaway favorite after scoring a record 36 goals.
Haaland the runaway favorite after scoring a club record 36 goals.
Also in attendance are Arsenal trio Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka, along with Newcastle duo Sven Botman and Alexander Isak.
Interestingly, the candidates also include two reported Liverpool transfer targets: Alexis Mac Allister and Moisés Caicedo (via Goal), who both play for Brighton.
Liverpool.com says: It’s no surprise Mac Allister and Caicedo are shortlisted. Both have played crucial roles for the Seagulls, who have been among the top performers this season.
Mac Allister (24) has 10 league goals, at least two more than any of his teammates, while the more defensive Caicedo (21) is second in the league in tackles and 10th in interceptions .
The Premier League have given the Reds something of a transfer call as reducing their midfield’s age structure while improving his quality is a crucial summer task.
Bringing in veteran Premier League players would minimize the chances of an adjustment period – and wasting no time getting back to the top, that could also be crucial. As the YPOTY Premier League shortlist shows, Mac Allister and Caicedo would be the best options.
