Football league threaten to pull pompey league presentation over….

There were emotional scenes at Fratton Park on Tuesday night when Conor Shaughnessy’s 89th-minute header against Barnsley won the Blues the title.

The Football League has issued a warning that if Pompey’s pitch invasion occurs again, they would cancel this Saturday’s scheduled ceremony to celebrate the League One champions.

Inevitably there was a pitch invasion at the final whistle as fans celebrated returning to the Championship after 12 years away.

After the match against Wigan on Saturday, the Blues are now set to receive the League One trophy in a ceremony.

A stage will be built in the middle of the circle, and players will also get their medals. The team led by John Mousinho will also perform a lap of gratitude.

The Football League, however, maintains that if the Fratton supporters trespass on the field once more, the ceremony will not go place.

The EFL are naturally alarmed following Tuesday’s pitch invasion, and they have made it clear that if any fans enter the pitch before or after the final whistle, the ceremony will be canceled, according to Andy Cullen, who spoke to The News.I’m hoping everyone would agree that we can’t allow that to occur.Instead of the trophy being given to the players in the small space of the dressing room, we should all get to witness the players get their medals and being given the trophy.

The guys are adamant that they would not let this opportunity to pass them by. They would like to receive the trophy and medals in front of the supporters, as well as a lap of appreciation as a thank you.

“John Mousinho, myself, and the players are pleading with the fans to remain seated and savor this unique occasion together.” We would be appreciative of everyone’s assistance.

The FA is also looking at the pitch invasion on Tuesday night as well as specific occurrences that took place on the field following the final whistle.

In the meantime, details on the celebratory event schedule to commemorate Pompey’s men’s and women’s teams’ consecutive championship victories are anticipated to be revealed within the next 48 hours.

The Jay Sadler-coached Pompey Women won the National League Southern Premier Division championship on Sunday.
